WE ARE Here to Help

We know that working with children with disabilities is something that many people are not trained in. There are a lot of questions and unknowns.

Children with disabilities are one of the most vulnerable populations and they can easily be left out of programs if we are not sure how to include them or provide for them with what they need.
If you have a desire to help children with disabilities, we want to help you.

Amy,
eSwatini (Swaziland)

"Over and over again I have heard even those who work with orphans and other vulnerable children say, 'we are just not equipped to deal with kids with disabilities.' I am so excited that Ekisa is going to help us get rid of excuses like that! Their model is working and we are anxious to learn from them so that we can see similar results here in Eswatini.

Kirsten,
The Amazima School

In the communities we serve, many children do not have access to education because of their disabilities. Ekisa Ministries is giving us valuable support in training and preparing our staff as we seek to begin a special education program as part of our new primary school. We are excited to see the ways in which this collaboration will impact the children and families in our community.

 Brandon Stiver,
1MILLIONHOME

"When we look at countries throughout the world, we regularly see that children living with disability are the most underserved and under-resourced population of vulnerable children. What Ekisa is doing through their programs in Uganda is one of a kind and we are grateful for their leadership within the 1MILLIONHOME community when it comes to advising other organizations about meaningful interventions and support for these precious children."
