You can view our 2014 Annual Report HERE. *The IRS policy toward Directed Donations [a.k.a. Ear Marked or Restricted Donation] determines these donations not to be tax deductible. Ekisa’s policy is when donors specify how they want their donations used Ekisa will still use these funds as needed. So by default they do not become Directed Donations. We have a policy to typically use these donations as requested, but this is completely at Ekisa's prerogative. If a donor wants a donation to be Directed, and not tax deductible, Ekisa’s Treasurer needs to be notified. Email pworrall@ekisa.org if this is the case. Amazon Smile Do you shop on Amazon? Ekisa could not function without prayer. We do not have enough words to thank those of you who have come alongside of Ekisa and prayed with and for us. Below are some general ways to be lifting up the Ekisa family here, but for more specific prayer requests please check our Instagram.

Ekisa prayer requests:

  • For all of the children at Ekisa: That they stay healthy, get stronger everyday, and are built up in the love Jesus. For adoptive and foster families to rise up to love these children as their own.

  • For the entire Ekisa staff: That each day God may fill their cups so they can pour out love to each and every For our team to be unified, thus capable of functioning to the best of our ability.

  • For parents in the community: That Ekisa can be a safe place for parents who have a child with special needs to come and seek guidance and refuge. That God will foster a new generation of parents here in Uganda who are raising their children living with special needs fearlessly. That these parents will fight for their children, and see them as fearfully and wonderfully made.

  • Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
